Anne Marie, Our deepest sympathies to you and the entire Amyotte Family. Earl visited us often in the flower shop and always kept us very entertained, he was a good neighbour and friend and always wanted the very best roses for his special rose! Earl spoke very fondly of you, his children and grandchildren. We will miss his charm and wit. May God help you through this difficult period. Sincerely, Fiesta Flowers & Gifts

It was with great sadness that we heard of Earl's passing. His whole life was dedicated to defending the defenseless unborn babies. I am sure that all the babies he tried so hard to save and yet was unable to will be there to lead him to the glory of Heaven. Surely there is a special place for him in Heaven as his reward for his faithfulness. Our deepest sympathies to his family and to his family in Campaign Life who have lost a great ally.

Thank you Earl for giving us the courage to standup for the helpless unborn babies, the inspiration to take action, the leadership to guide us and the orneriness to not backdown. Your founding of Catholics United for Life in Southeast Michigan has been a tremendously valuable contribution to the prolife movement, for which we will all be eternally grateful. Your work with "to show the truth" throughout Canada has been a great inspiration to us which helps in providing hope for the culture of life. We will continue to keep you in our prayers and perhaps you might return the favor in helping us in our temporal mission to promote life. We love you Earl

Title: A Prayer for the Departed Earl AMYOTTE
Comment:
A Prayer for the Departed Earl AMYOTTE My God! We recommend to Thee the souls of our relations, our benefactors, our friends and our enemies, and of those who are in Purgatory on our account.

We recommend to Thee the souls of evangelical labourers, of Religious and Priests, and especially the soul of our friend Earl AMYOTTE We recommend to Thee the souls of those who were most devout to the passion of Our Lord, to the Blessed Sacrament, to the Blessed Virgin Mary, the souls who are most abandoned, those who suffer most, and those who are nearest to the entrance into paradise. We pray together with our Tridentinian community:
"Quotiescumque manducamus panem hunc et calicem bibimus, mortem tuam annuntiamus, domine, donec venias. Salvator mundi, salva nos, qui per crucem et resurrectionem tuam liberasti nos."
Amen

Title: 1st Corinthians 15:50-55
Comment:
Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood can obtain no part in the kingdom of God, neither shall corruption have any part with incorruption. Behold, I tell you a mystery: we shall all indeed rise, but we shall not all be changed--in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall rise incorruptible and we shall be changed. For this corruptible body must put on incorruption, and this mortal body must put on immortality. But when this mortal body puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the word that is written, "Death is swallowed up in victory! O death, where is thy victory! O death where is thy sting?"

Earl,

We're going to miss you at family gatherings; you were always there when needed. We enjoyed your visits on many occasions, especially the songs from long ago that you loved so much to sing, the stories you told about the early days up north and about your life long commitment to the Church.

You've made your mark on this earth and now you can rest in peace......

Title: For Anne Marie Stephens plus family and friends of Earl Amyotte
Comment:
My heartfelt condolences for your loss. May God bless you Anne Marie and the family and friends who will miss someone as kind and loving as Earl. I had the privilege of meeting and spending time with Earl on his several visits to Covington, Kentucky in the USA to visit Ellie Wilson (my mother-in-law and Anne Marie's mother). I particularly remember the Octoberfest time there as one of great happiness given most of our family was there and what a good time was had by everyone. Earl was a great chap to be around, always in good spirits and brought joy and happiness into the the lives of those he touched, me included. I know the great affection and love he shared with Anne Marie and I am happy for her that God chose to bring them together. I admire the principles he embraced and the strong conviction with which he maintained them. He will be missed and remembered.

Warmest regards and affection, John W. Belshaw,

Title: Thoughts of Earl Amyotte
Comment:
I knew Earl for over 23 years and always knew him to be a good and honourable and faith filled man. He was dedicated to the Prolife Cause and all that it encompasses. He was a loyal son of the Roman Catholic Church and I'm confident his final destination will be in the presence of his Lord and Saviour. He was also devoted to the Blessed Virgin and she will surely welcome him with open arms.

However, we who are left will sadly miss him. I personally worked with him on several projects. His advice was invaluable when we were petitioning the Bishop for permission to have the Mass celebrated in the Tridentine Latin Rite. He was our first altar boy.

In recent years we kept in contact mostly by phone. I always enjoyed talking with him and we usually discussed the state of the Church in Canada or what was happening in the world. We shared a lot of laughs and it seems that even recently when he was not well he never lost his sense of humour. Our conversations invariably ended with him saying, "We're in a hell of a mess." And I would agree.

Rest in peace Earl. Remember me in your prayers. I will surely remember you in mine. I am comforted in knowing, as Mother Theresa has said, "God does not ask that we be successful, but only that we remain faithful." You were surely that.

May his soul and the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen. Your friend, Ray Cameron

Title: Earl, you are now with the "God" and his "Angels"
Comment:
I am Anne Marie's youngest sister, Mary Jane. When Anne Marie and Earl would visit our mum, in Covington Ky., we always knew that Earl would have some wonderful stories to tell and wonderful songs from the past to sing to us! I have never met such a sharp, witty and humourous person as Earl! I must say, he is 'one in a million'! I thank God for bringing Anne Marie and Earl together, fore they surely 'Complimented' one another in so many ways....and had us laughing so very much. Our mum, Ellie Wilson loved Earl, fore he sure kept her entertained. He sure loves pets, too! I have a Maltese, and she is not the easiest little rascal to get close to, but the minute Earl walked into the room, she was all over him! In fact, they became buddies! Earl and Anne Marie came down during our 'Octoberfest'...also Jeff, Anne Marie's oldest son and his wife accompanied them. We had the most wonderful time together, and he surely enjoyed the small pubs along the way. Anne Marie, I know you shall miss him, fore he was your 'Best Friend'! When our mum passed away, Earl was so kind to say the Rosary with us! I have never experienced such a serene feeling that came over me, when Earl recited the Rosary with our family. Thank you Earl, you shall be missed so very much....you have left our family with beautiful memories and we shall never forget these pecious moments you shared with us. I feel so lucky to have met a 'Gentleman' as yourself....Anne Marie, i love you and i shall have you in my prayers.

God Bless,
Mary Jane Morin

Title: Our Uncle Earl
Comment:
Thank you Uncle Earl for your beautiful life and your wonderful influence on us. Some of our best memories as kids are of the summer vists you would make every year, driving your Dodge Dart....man that thing just wouldn't quit, just like you...how you always managed to see the best things in life, even life wasn't that good, inspired us. You most certainly were always a glass is half full person. We'll miss you every day, but are not so much as saddened by our loss, but grateful to have you as part of our lives

Title: Timeless Dreams
Comment:
What matters it to us who are immortal
Which side of the grave we stand on,
When we know
That what the world calls death, is merely a portal...

Every Spirit has a moment, a reason to be. For how ever long their time on this earth might be. At least for that moment I can say that I was fortunate enough to have bathed in the light of your passing and for that I am thankful to have met you Earl.

Be Blessed
